President Trump`s legal team accused House Democrats of trying to overturn the 2016 election in an angry response Saturday to the impeachment trial summons issued by the Senate ahead of its trial to decide whether to remove the president from office. Democrats issued a 111-page brief as both sides prepared for the opening gavel.
